Founded in 1983 by Laurent and Bea Lussier, Lussier's Sawmill
has been serving the Berkshire community for over 15 years. Bea is a full partner in the
mill in addition to being the Chief Financial Officer, Public Relations director, Yard
Supervisor, Log Scaler and Fork-lift Operator. The Lussier's were joined by son Anthony in 1992, who purchased the company in 1997. The operation has expanded into an automated sawmill which includes a debarker, edger, double-edge trimmer and chipper. Located on the Canadian border in Berkshire Vermont, the sawmill now produces nearly 3 MBF per year and retails to all of Northern Vermont. |
