Club Member Duties:
Required:
  • Positive representation required at all times when wearing club clothing.  We should encourage each other, and those around us, to succeed.
  • Volunteer at either Eastern Cup or Howard Bank Criterium
Optional:
  • Wear your team clothing at events, training
  • Volunteer at Catamount with
-  trail maintenance
-  weekly race help
-  reporting "trail bandits/sneak-ons" to the office
  • Volunteer at VMBA trail maintenance days

Team Member Benefits & Duties

Team members are club members and will receive all benefits that club members receive.  Additionally, they will have to fulfill all the duties of club members.  You MUST sign up to be part of the team no later than May 15, 2000.  See the lists below to see what extra benefits are gained and the duties required of team members.

Team member benefits:
Immediate benefits:

  • One free pair team socks & one water bottle
  • Free entry into either The Eastern Cup or The Howard Bank Criterium (pre-registration required)
Benefits upon completion of required duties*:
  • All team clothing at cost

*must complete the team duties prior to receiving this "deal".  Purchase team clothing at retail price at the beginning of the season.  Upon completion of duties
with submitted report, you will receive a check as a refund for the difference in price of retail vs. wholesale cost.

Team member duties:
  • Required to volunteer at BOTH Eastern Cup and Howard Bank Criterium
  • Required to wear team uniform during all organized events
  • Must compete/participate in:
-  seven Weekly Mountain Bike Training Series Races at     Catamount OR other "fun" organized road events,     combined total
-  4 NORBA/EFTA or USCF events, combined total

Any one wishing to be a part of our club or team is welcome, as we pride ourselves on being participation based.  We do ask, however, that as a club or team member you fulfill your duties and take on the responsibilities of that membership seriously. Please see the team contract sheet.
