Now, weaving webs of enchantment, Julia comes to bring those tales to life, delighting audiences of all ages with captivating tales of her homeland. Hear about princes, fairies, valiant women, a faithful dog, and the greatest Celtic figure of all: the Welsh king Idris, known to the world as Arthur.
Julia’s program includes fascinating insights into the history and customs of her ancestors, and the ancient Welsh language:
“Croeso i’r wlad swynion Gymru!” – “Welcome to the enchanted land of Wales!”
The story follows the miraculous life of Columba from the early foretelling of his birth to the legacy he left to the world when he died on the Scottish island of Iona in 597.
A dramatic saga designed to enthrall audiences of adults and children over ten; this 45-minute monologue speaks about devotion, war, peace, patriotism, exile, redemption and renewal.

This one-hour program may include the traditional La Llorona from Mexico; the surprising “Dark, Dark Night”; a personal tale of a haunted English island or Abenaki tales from the Lake Champlain area.
Crafted to suit the audience, these stories, some original, some traditional, will delight listeners of all ages and perhaps leave them looking nervously over their shoulders as they walk home!
It will entrance people of all ages from five to 100.
